In Dreams

These songs were initially meant to be inspired by the Majora's Mask soundtrack, which is still noticeable in their repeated pattern of notes at the beginning, and how those notes are inverted between dream and nightmare. However, as I wrote they strayed away from MM's general style, which isn't a bad thing. 

Dream felt like it should elicit exploration and wonder, so I like it's transitions from slow to loud and back.

I felt like the word nightmare implies action, intensity, and fear, especially in the context of games, but I wrote it more melancholy. Now that I'm older bad dreams are very rarely scary, just sad.
